Pup's bio: Tom was born in Westminster, London, to a former stage manager and a scientist. His parents divorced when he was 13. He boarded at Eton and went on to Cambridge University. He graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in 2005. While at Cambridge, he was in a production of the play A Streetcar Named Desire and was seen by an agency and signed. His first television role came in 2001; his first film role in 2007; his major breakout role was in 2011's Thor, in which he played the villain Loki.

Citadel specific:
Tom knew he was gay just as he hit adolescence. He was in his twenties before he came out to his family. When he was 19, he met a man named Andrew in a club. Andrew was older (50), wealthy (ran his own successful company), and handsome. Tom fell in love. He let Andrew make all of the decisions for him save for anything to do with acting, and Andrew also opened Tom's eyes to various aspects of BDSM. They were together two years before Andrew suffered a fatal heart attack.

The next few years Tom spent engaged either in studies, acting, clubbing and party drugs, and a lot of promiscuous sex. By the time he was 24 he was beginning to settle down, and he eventually fell into another relationship, this time with a co-star on a television movie who was, once again, considerably older. Between then and the beginning of shooting 2012's The Avengers, Tom had a string of boyfriends, never any younger than 40.

And then he met Robert Downey Jr.
